Tonkatsu is a popular japanese dish that is just delicious. This Mini Tonkatsu is great for finger food at the gathering. Small Cut tonkatsu is even easier to cook. The outside is crispy while the pork inside is succulent. If it's hard to find the Tonkatsu sauce in a near market, use a combination of salt, lemon and mustart as an alternative. Ingredients

Serves 4
  • 1 lb.thick-cut pork loins (1/3-to 2/3-inch thick) seasoned with salt & pepper
  • all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • breadcrumbs
  • vegetable oil
  • shredded cabbage and tonkatsu sauce, lime, salt.

Direction

  1. Cut the pork into 3/4-to 1&1/4 inch aquare pieces.chop some pumpkin into 3/4-to 1&1/4 inch pieces.
  2. Coat with flour, beaten egg, breadcrumbs in order.
  3. Deep-fry at 320-340'F until crispy.
  4. Tread the pork and leeks onto skewers and serve with tonkatsu sauce or lime, salt.
