Yogurt mousse

This recipe was made for Tescom stick blender and it is included in a package.

Ingredients

servings for 4 people
  • Plain yogurt ... 240g(8.5oz)
  • Egg white (cool it well) ... 2pcs
  • Dairy cream ... 100ml (3.3oz)
  • Boiling water ... 100ml (3.3oz)
  • Powdered gelatin ... 8g (0.28oz)
  • Granulated sugar ... 30g (1oz)
  • Kirsch ... 2tsp
  • <Strawberry Sauce>
  • Granulated sugar ... 60g(2.11oz)
  • Lemon juice ... 2tsp
  • Strawberry ... 8pcs

Direction

  1. Put egg white and half amount of granulated sugar in a bowl and beat at speed level 1-5 for 3min
  2. Then, increase the speed to 9-13 and beat until they peak (approx.1.5min)
  3. Melt powdered gelatin by adding 100ml (3.3fl.oz) hot water. Put yogurt in a bowl and add the melted gelatin. Stir with spatula in a chilled ball until they are thickened.
  4. Add 3, meringue and kirsch to 2 and beat them to make it airy.
  5. Pour in a glass and cool it in a refrigerator for 2 hours.
  6. <Strawberry Sauce>
  7. Remove stem of strawberry and cut into 2cm (0.8in.) cube.
  8. Put strawberry, granulated sugar and lemon juice and operate blender at speed level 1-5 for 20sec.
  9. Pour in a heat-resistant bowl (larger than 14cm (5.5in.) in diameter, 6.5cm(2.55in.) height. Microwave at 500W for 4min. Stir to cool it down.
  10. cool down in a refrigerator and pour on the yogurt mouse.
